Welcome to Tyneham; our Early Years Reception Class.

At Bere Regis Primary and Pre-School we work to develop an exciting child-led curriculum in which children can flourish.

We believe the Early Years curriculum should be the secure foundation on which future learning can be built. Our aim is for the children to become independent, successful learners by nurturing the Characteristics of Effective Learning throughout the curriculum; having a go, persistence, choosing their own resources, having their own ideas, concentration, exploring new things and making links in their learning.

We foster strong links between pre-school, home and school to ensure; effective communication about children’s well-being and development, a smooth transition from Pre-school to Reception and to foster a positive and shared responsibility for your children’s learning.
