Jurassic Class – Year 5&6

Welcome to Jurassic!

Here in Jurassic we strive to foster a continued love of learning, building on the knowledge and skills gained throughout the children’s time at Bere Regis Primary.

Children in Jurassic will explore many exciting and interesting topics such as Crime and Punishment, Space and WW2 whilst building key social skills, independence and resilience ready for when they leave us and start new adventures at secondary school. Reading and writing are woven throughout the curriculum providing many opportunities for cross-curricular learning.

Being the oldest in the school, the children are given the opportunity to take on more responsibilities such as being librarians, reading buddies or sports leaders and are looked up to as leaders within the school environment.We look forward to welcoming you to our class and school community!
